People just show up, bringing along drums or tambourines of various shapes and sizes. Some come to watch and listen; others to participate; and some to dance to the earthly rhythms. Nobody is in charge of starting or ending, yet the drum circle traditionally starts about an hour before sunset. For some it is a spiritual experience, and to others it is strictly entertainment.
